Birgit Troschel

Her background

Birgit Troschel grew up on three different continents. Her father was a medtech sales representative for Siemens and was responsile for setting up hospitals and clinics. She completed her A-levels and her psychology studies with a focus on industrial and organisational psychology in Germany. Immediately after graduating, she worked for 10 years in management consulting as an international consultant at Arthur Andersen in Frankfurt. When it became clear that she and her family would be staying in Switzerland, she built up the consulting division at Stettler Consulting and quickly became a member of the management and a partner.

Most members of her family are doctors, professors or psychologists. Working together and diversity have been a central theme for as long as she can remember. At Arthur Andersen, she was able to get to know the corporate world very well and understand the complexity of good leadership. As a member of the management team, she has also gained experience in business management topics such as marketing, acquisition and sales.
