Career Path

• After completing my bachelor’s degree and starting out in venture capital, I analyzed new technologies in medical technology and digital health for their added value to patients. The mission of making a difference in the lives of patients with high or even unmet medical needs through innovative solutions inspired me.
• In every professional role, I was able to LEARN A LOT. In particular, my time as a Clinical Specialist in spinal surgery deepened my knowledge of the healthcare sector. Daily attendance at complex surgical procedures and the support of a wide range of stakeholders — from small private hospitals to university hospitals in both German- and French-speaking Switzerland — was both challenging and fascinating. Moreover, it was the best school of life for me in terms of responsibility, as well as service and solution orientation.
• The healthcare market is enormously interdisciplinary: medicine, technology, IT, business, and politics all contribute to improving people’s quality of life. This requires openness towards various fields of expertise and people as well as close collaboration to achieve these goals. That fascinates me!
• During my time in the medical technology industry, I realized that I reached the limits of my technical knowledge. Stettler Consulting gives me the opportunity to focus on the “human factor”: What makes a person tick? Do they align with the company’s goals and culture? How can we best support our clients?
• What is particularly important to me when working with candidates and clients? I prefer visiting our clients on-site to get an impression of the company, the teams, and the products. The focus of the conversation is the open exchange about their needs and goals.
